Copying, cutting and pasting a page

If you have a design that looks very similar to another page in the current or in another album the best thing you can do is to put a copy of the original page onto the clipboard and then paste the page from the clipboard into the album into the desired position. Then you can make some necessary adjustments to fine tune the page to your wishes. Most of the time this method will be faster than starting with an empty page.

Copy and paste

First select the original page. The copying of the page can be done in two ways:

  1. Via the main menu Edit and then Copy Page;
  2. Via the right mouse menu of the page and then the option Copy Page.

The page has now been copied to the clipboard.

To get the page off the clipboard you first have to select the page behind which the page from the clipboard must be pasted. Then you perform one of the following actions:

  1. Via the main menu Edit and then Paste Page;
  2. Via the right mouse menu of the selected page and then the option Paste Page.

The page has now been placed behind the current page. Stamp Album Studio will, if necessary, ask if the pages must be renumbered.

If the page originates from another album the template of that album, if any, will no longer be applicable. The template of the current album, if any, will be used instead. This can mean  that the alignment of the objects is no longer to your wishes. You can correct this by using the alignment functions of Stamp Album Studio.

Cut and paste

You can also put a page onto the clipboard and delete it from the album at the same time. Then you can paste the page into another position in the album. In fact, you are moving the page.

First select the page. The copying of the page can be done in two ways:

  1. Via the main menu Edit and then Cut Page;
  2. Via the right mouse menu of the page and then the option Cut Page.

Stamp Album Studio will now ask if the page and all objects on it must be deleted. After confirmation the page will be deleted and copied to the clipboard. Then you can paste the page onto another position.
